Red, White, & Cute: A New Westport Fireworks Tradition for Kids
This year feels especially meaningful. As America celebrates its 250th anniversary and Westport prepares for one of its most beloved traditions, the Compo Beach Fireworks, Pip Party Co and Honey Pie Children’s Boutique wanted to create something special for local families and children to remember the occasion.
As two local moms, small business owners, and fans of the fireworks, we shared a simple idea: create a keepsake that captures the joy, nostalgia, and excitement of a summer day in Westport.
Designed with comfort and adventure in mind, the shirt is lightweight, vegan, and offers SPF 50 sun protection, perfect for a long day spent building sandcastles, enjoying beach picnics, and waiting for the fireworks to light up the sky at night.
The artwork itself was entirely hand-illustrated, blending a touch of whimsy with classic beach-club charm. We wanted it to feel playful and timeless, with the childlike spirit that makes summer memories so special.
But what we love most is that this t-shirt is designed to become uniquely yours.
